Honey Show 2023

Our Honey Show is open to members of Epping Forest Division and members of other Essex Beekeepers’ Association Divisions.

It will be held in conjunction with the Copped Hall Autumn Family Day on Sunday 8th October 2023 from 11am till 4pm.

How to Enter:

First, look at the schedule, rules and recipes and decide which classes you wish to enter.

It is very simple to apply online: use the “Entry Form” button at the bottom of this page. You will receive an email with a copy of your form on completion.

Entries must be received by midnight on Thursday 5th October 2023.

Exhibitor entry to the honey show is charged at £2 for an unlimited number of entries. It is free for those entering only in class 6 (Juniors) or class 8 (Gift).

Delivering your exhibits:

Exhibits must be delivered to Copped Hall, Crown Hill, Epping, CM16 5HR, the day before the show, i.e. Saturday 7th October, between 11am and midday – or by other means with prior consultation with the Show Secretary.

Payment of the £2 entry fee should be made at this point

Entry to Copped Hall Autumn Family Day is Free for each Honey Show entrant. An Autumn Family Day entry ticket will be given on delivery of exhibits. Adult charge for public entry is £10. Children under 14 are free. Anyone accompanying an exhibitor will pay public rate.

No entries or exhibits will be accepted on the day of the show – all judging will have taken place on Saturday afternoon.

Collecting your entries:

Apart from the Gift Class, all exhibits must be collected after the show has finished – 4.00pm (not before!).

NB: All trophies won last year must be returned, cleaned, on or before the day of the show.
